Boondocks - Fordyce

As someone whose family has lived in Sidney for over 110 years, I cannot support the owner of this establishment. They maintain poor relationships with their employees and do not tip the kitchen staff. I would never leave a tip here, as the tips are not shared among all workers. When I brought this issue up, the owner simply shrugged it off. The service was terrible! Food rating: 1.

I haven't visited this restaurant since before COVID, but from what I recall, the quality has significantly declined. The prime rib was poorly prepared, with a large amount of fat and overly drowned in au jus—so much so that I had to ask for it to be taken back and drained. My dining companions were disappointed as well. The only redeeming aspect of the experience was the two young ladies who served us; they went out of their way to accommodate us. I'm not sure if we'll return anytime soon. Food rating: 2/5.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The New York steak was overcooked and tough, full of gristle and fat. The potatoes were old, and the salad was limp. The waitress didn't address any of the issues with the food. There were only two other tables occupied during my visit. I had dinner, and the price per person was between $20 and $30.
