Le Grand Chalet - Foncine-le-Haut

A lovely place with many activities the proprietor organized throughout the week we stayed. It was snowy at first, so there were snowshoe hikes, X-country skiing, with guides from ESF. On two evenings there was musical entertainment. Later in the week it rained so we enjoyed the indoor pool, ping pong, foosball. The food on the meal plan is all very French, from the local region. Two things to expect: not all staff speak English, and the bedrooms are very SMALL with the kid's beds in a loft space with a very STEEP stair to climb for access.

I've been coming here every year for four years and plan to return for at least the next twenty. Extraordinary and smiling welcome in all circumstances, unique comfort, numerous services and most of them free. Last year I had zero snow and it was even crazier. And I'm not talking about entertainment... Like jazz bands or even story tellers. Really recommended, it will necessarily be an unforgettable success.

Friendly typical Jura hotel. it is very well located, the rooms are correct, the food is excellent as well as the welcome. Charles and Mimie know how to entertain and give good advice on visits to their region. Charming people who I wholeheartedly recommend. thank you.

A beautiful quiet place and without large crowds very pleasant people a safe value. a beautiful chalet at the foot of the slopes, an incredible nature, a very good kitchen to know absolutely happiness, a place of recharge. Thank you for all these good moments soon thank you

1 week spent with family in this establishment, we highly recommend you. Very well equipped hotel and staff is super pleasant and dedicated to its guests! The meals are both hearty and delicious.
