Scott's Seafood Roundhouse Historic District Folsom

I had calamari, oysters ceasar salad and spicy crab bisque. All was excellent except for the bisque which was too spicy to enjoy the crab and other more delicate flavors. I like spicy food but the spiciness in the bisque was over powering. Service was prompt and friendly but disorganized. This was our second visit to Scott's. The first visit was all 5's. This visit fell a bit short but was still definitely worth returning.

We decided to try the new location(for us) for a major anniversary dinner (informed in advance). At first we were seated near the bar, adjacent to 5 young ladies all trying to talk at the same time. The host graciously moved us into the dining area where two old folks could hear one another. Our server was spectacular as was the appetizers main course and wine. A very enjoyable dinner, and we talked all the way home that we should visit Scott 's Seafood more often as every visit is a 'special occasion '.

The special swordfish was amazing! Service always great here. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal: the swordfish special and strawberry salad delish! According to others at my table, the petrole sole was OK ; potatoes over seasoned; Caesar salad dressing was heavy on the anchovy! We were put in the back room which is less noisy, but has no real ambiance. Request the main room if you want the fun vibe!!

We had an amazing anniversary dinner. Our 6-week old baby joined us and the crew made sure we were comfortable. Our server, Oura, was exceptional and personal. You could tell that every member of the team was busy, but she never left us waiting for service! She also made two menu suggestions that was took, and were amazing. My only suggestion is concerning our drinks. The Old Fashioned was served with too much ice, sitting 3/4-1” above the top of the spirits. That made the drink look small and I scooped some out after my first sip resulted in clicks on my teeth. The Manhattan was served in an “improper” glass, not a huge deal, but some people wouldn’t like that. The taste of both drinks was wonderful! Thank you and cheers!

We enjoyed a fabulous Sole, linguine with clams and crafted cocktails. Service was over the top lovely. Friday night happy hour was very spirited inside, so we opted for a nice dinner outside.
