The garlic-infused aioli that accompanied it added a nice kick that complemented the shrimp beautifully. I would definitely return just for this sandwich. The fish sandwich was decent—generous in portion but lacked flavor and had insufficient tartar sauce. The burger was good as well, but the shrimp po' boy definitely outshined it. The tater tots were delicious, and my child preferred them over the French fries. My partner ordered the giant pretzel with cheese sauce, and they seemed to really enjoy it. I also had a Moscow mule, which was wonderfully gingery and refreshing. They had a self-service iced water station outside, but I did notice a child pick up a plastic cup, blow into it, touch the rim with their hands, and then put it back. It might be worth reconsidering the self-service policy. Despite the crowds, the server was friendly and maintained a calm demeanor. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but if I were in the area again, I would definitely stop by for that shrimp po' boy!
We’ve had a disappointing experience with the food on three separate occasions since this restaurant came under new ownership. Despite our hopes of supporting a local business, they have consistently let us down, particularly in terms of food quality. On our most recent visit, we ordered drinks and tried the chicken strips, which were burnt to a crisp and completely inedible, as well as a grilled chicken sandwich that looked nothing like the picture on the menu. What was supposed to be grilled chicken breast turned out to be a thin, previously frozen chicken patty. To make matters worse, the chicken salad we ordered was missing the chicken altogether. The service was lackluster, and overall, the quality of the food was disappointing. We genuinely feel sorry for this establishment, but unless they make significant changes, we don’t see them succeeding.
The restaurant is now out of business and has been replaced by Olaloha, a fantastic Mexican/Hawaiian fusion spot. It's a significant improvement over the previous Canyon Grill, which I found to be quite disappointing.
Very unorganized. There is a sign to seat yourself when you walk in, but there is no menu posted, no menus at the table, and I only saw one person behind the bar. The staff aren't in uniforms so it was hard to distinguish who actually worked there. I stood at the bar for a while trying to get noticed so I could ask for menus but no one acknowledged me. My friend found some tucked up against the wall so we took them and sat down. I asked a young guy who appeared to work there for some waters which we never got. Then we noticed a guy taking orders for tables that arrived after us. We asked if we could order and he said he had other tables to get to first even though they came in after us. My group felt very unwelcomed. By the time they actually took our order, it took a long time to come out and we had to repeatedly ask for waters. Food was okay, but not as expected. My Cobb salad didn't have an egg. Overall the service was very awkward and the food was just ok. We will not be returning.
Came in last night with mom and husband,Fri around 5:30 sat outside near lots and lots of families with kids. Band was old school we really enjoyed their music. Mom and I got slider husband got pork snadwhich. Food was cold. Pork sliders were still tasty all agreed fries were amazing. Not sure I'd come back unless others wanted to go
