Wolf Bay At Foley

This is a fantastic local seafood restaurant. Despite being busy, the service was quick and excellent. I had a great lunch at Wolf Bay. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and the grits were full of flavor, while the shrimp were outstanding. The salad bar was also a big highlight. I highly recommend this local gem!

This restaurant is a great choice for a special occasion. It's the overall experience that stands out more than any single aspect. However, I must say the fried green tomatoes here are outstanding! Our server created a lovely atmosphere for our meal. The portions were quite generous; my salad was so full that it felt almost indulgent. As someone with a healthy appetite, I was surprised to find that I needed a takeout box. The cake was pleasantly not too sweet, making it enjoyable to eat.

The restaurant had a wait so we chose to dine at the bar. The bar area was nearly empty around our noon time arrival on Sunday and we were able to receive service immediately. There was a really nice mimosa and **** Mary bar set up for a do it yourself drink- a really nice variety of offerings such as olives, meats etc. My **** Mary was $10 which I thought was very reasonable for the add-ins that were available. This place is great! The staff was absolutely fantastic, we had the Best waitress. She talked to us like we were friends of hers. The owner even came sat down at our table gave us a little history about the restaurant. Now on to the good stuff; THE FOOD! Look, make sure you're hungry because they give you plenty as you can see from the photos. My wife had the flounder it almost covered the plate, I had the steak that was really good you gotta try the crab ???? dip,

I enjoyed the food! The Gumbo is not gumbo, it tasted more like beef stew with shrimp! That really is my only complaint! The food was good and hot when served. Even though it was packed, it did not take long to get our orders. There was also live entertainment and they sung a variety of songs from country to Bob Marley! I will visit again when I am in Foley, Alabama!
