Lucia Pizza - FLUSHING

A quintessential Queens slice! Baked in a gas oven, it boasts the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and crispy crust. The prices are more than reasonable, making it an excellent choice for a meal on the go. Everything here is delicious, from the regular slices to the Sicilian and the beef patty with cheese. I've been coming here for over 15 years, and although the neighborhood has changed, the quality of this place remains consistent. Make sure to pay a visit; the guys running this spot are fantastic!

This is a cozy and popular pizza place. I sampled both the regular and Sicilian styles, but I found the regular to be better, as the Sicilian was a bit dry. There was no line to order; you simply go to the front, place your order, and the staff will serve your pizza. The restaurant has limited indoor seating, but you can eat at the counter. Please note that there are no restrooms available. They do accept credit cards.

This is the best pizza in the world! I admit I might be biased since I’ve been enjoying it for about 25 years whenever I’m in NYC. I often take the 7 train all the way to the end just to grab a slice, even if it means I’ll have to spend an extra half-hour on the treadmill afterward. There are no frills here—just incredibly delicious, hot, thin-crust New York pizza.

We stayed in the Flushing area for close to a week, and in addition to all of the great Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants we periodically went to Lucia Pizza. The place was always busy, with people dropping in for a slice or two, orpicking up whole pizzas. We would typically order a whole pizza and wait for it to be made, so we were able to observe the wholeprocess of making and cooking a pie. There were never any measuring devices or timers used; this is all about skill andknowledge, and it was amazing to see the care that went into ensuring every single pie was perfect. The staff were friendly andhelpful, and obviously knew their regular customers. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by for a slice!

I'm disabled and the delivery man ignored my orders to bring the food downstairs so it took me 15 minutes to get up the stairs. They came 20 minutes late, they forgot my beef patty but remembered to charge me for it and gave me an eggplant hero burntbeyond recognition. I will never order from here again and i recommend you do the same.
