Johnny's New York Style Pizza

This is another review in my journey for the perfect calzone. I am doing it for Johnny?s. When I used to live in Flowery Branch, the calzones were one of the best I ever had. However, it has been a while since I visited this location and unfortunately it is not the same since I last visited. First previously the calzones were large. At least 12 in. In fact they previously had a 16-18 inch version as well. Now it is only about 8in which is disappointing since this is usually not satisfying. In taste the dough had a slight salty taste, which was unexpected. But the flavor of garlic, ricotta, and mozzarella were balanced well and were delicious. In appearance, the calzone was slightly droopy and there was an area that was slightly overcooked. Overall the calzone was good, but not the best I have had. To help complement the calzone I had garlic knots which were excellent. Perfect Garlic, Parmesan, oil mix. Also the sauce they provided for dip was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. A friend that went with me, had a gluten veggie pizza and garlic cheese bread. He loved it. I will most likely not visit this location due to where I currently live but would go back if I lived in the area. I would not have the calzone again due to its size and saltiness.

I love Johnny's Pizza. My visit today was great. Went today for lunch and had the Bronx Bomber. It's my favorite. Sarah C was my waitress and she did a great job. I have never had a bad experience at Johnny's! 5 stars!

My family and I visit this special Johnny 's often and must say that the customer service of Liz and Kylie is the absolute best. Food quality is a good majority of times, but we had our share of problems in this place. The main reason why I give them a 5-star rating and nothing less is bc these young ladies work hard and provide phenomenal customer service every time! For me this means much bc your average restaurants with this generation and the I don't care attitude really bites. They can fix all the problems I've ever had, and they did it with a smile on their face all the time. You're the sweetest girls I've ever met! That's why I always come to this particular place.

First we had an incredible server called Maggie. And let me tell you that service was fast and friendly and exceptional. I could not recommend a better pizza facility at any time. Here's the bomb!

This Johny's let me down. I called to give them an opportunity to make it right. The manager failed again. There was large sections of burnt cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza. This caused the pizza to be very bitter. I will not visit this location again.
