There are options for any diet on their menu, the place is spotless and there is even a lovely place to sit if you have an animal with you. Many thanks to the kind owners of this great establishment.
Food is okay. Gravy on the poutines is terribly bland, prices are very high, and customer service could use a lot of improvements (the owner should not be in this line of customer service - he has zero personality, and not pleasant)
Having arrived late to Florenceville, we missed the Potato Museum before it closed and decided to head into town to figure out why (besides the fact that McCains is headquartered here) this is known as the French Fry Capital of the World. In town, we stopped to asked someone local for advice about finding the best French fries in town. The DogHut was the suggestion. The menu was amazing with over 100 varieties of poutine as well as numerous hot dogs, burgers, etc. Pseudo-healthy choices were also available. After settling on our selections though, we were disappointed with the flavours of the food. Everything was underspiced and bland. There is a great concept here though and we certainly kept a copy of the impressive menu.
Food was ok but pricey, beautiful location right across from the St. John River and easy to get in and out.
This is a great spot that My husband and I go to in the summer evenings as a meal out. We love the food.
