Woodstone is the top restaurant with a buffet that I have come across. Even if they offered menus, it would be just as impressive. Their sweet tea is among the best in the South. In fact, it's the only tea I drink. The staff and owners deserve all the praise, as they work alongside everyone else to ensure a smooth operation. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, and it's no surprise that there are always lines of people waiting to get in.

I typically don't prefer buffets, but I can never resist a meal at Woodstone! In my opinion, this restaurant offers all the classic southern cooking BBQ dishes executed perfectly. Their fish, chicken, sweet potato casserole, and hush puppies are so delicious that I could easily fill up and feel like I'm in Heaven!

I would give this restaurant -1 star if I could. I left because of the attitude of the short, rude hostess. They asked for payment upon entering, which was fine. Then they asked us to wait for the hostess to seat us, which was also fine. However, things took a turn for the worse when the hostess asked for our name and number of people in our party. When we questioned why, she rudely informed us that there was a wait. We were upset that we were not informed of this wait before paying, and she arrogantly declared that she was the hostess, not the cashier. She offered a refund if we had a problem. Even while getting the refund, the hostess continued to be disrespectful. We will never give them our money again.

Your normal buffet food nothing more or nothing less. No fountain drinks, soda sold individually by the bottle.

This restaurant is too expensive. I have been here several times, but tonight was terrible. I received more change than I should have from the cashier. The BBQ was extremely dry. I had to ask two different waiters before they finally brought some tartar sauce. The waitress ignored our table until I had to flag her down. We will not be returning. Instead, we will go to the School House in Scranton. This place is overpriced for the quality of food they serve. The employees need training in common courtesy and basic customer service skills.
