Mcleans - Flintshire

We had a lovely meal as we were celebrating my mother in law. S birthday. They have music they do a cavery at weekend. We always go to mc.cleans when we go out socialy. A great place to go for the whole family.

Great customer service great fish and chips. Nice to see Pat and John again.

Really nice pub, off the beaten track but well worth visiting. The first person I met was John the landlord who introduced himself and pointed out the Wrexham Lager that I selected and I wasn't disappointed. Very nice pint indeed. A few minutes later I was introduced to the landlady and chef, Pat, who asked if I wanted to order food as everything is freshly prepared and cooked and pointed out the menu choices available that day. I chose the Chicken Melt, fillets of chicken in a barbeque sauce topped with melted cheese that came with chips and peas. The meal arrived around 20 minutes later, generous portions and absolutely delicious. If I hadn't been so full I would have had the same again!

It was an amazing night if live music and fancy dress.
