フィードバックを提供するI had dinner and a beer flight here with my brother and son. We were seated promptly right after opening (4p). I had the fillet Oscar with mashed potatoes and the Redwood salad. The salad was unique that I chose to have with ranch on the side. I wish itwould have been chilled more. The fillets were 4 ounces each with both being very good but one was more tender than the other.Crab cakes were tasty but thin. I also thought for the price they should offer a baked potato and not just mashed. Overall, Ithought the meal was very good. The flight were six 6 ounce samples that the price varied on the type you selected. Most wereaverage with 2 being good. My brother enjoyed his fish and chips along with my son saying his burger was good. Large parkinglot with a lodge theme. Flat top and bar seating. Cloth napkins. Excellent service. Pricey. The entree was very good butnot excellent and with those prices they really need to set the bar to have returning customers. I probably would not return dueto the price point.
The food isn't horrible. But the quality does not match the price. I ordered the 6 oz seller mignon and A crabcake.... which came to over $50. This alone is not worth complaining about because I don't mind spending more on good food. BUT The bread wasbland and served out of a paper bag, and the herbs and oil were in a to-go cup. The grab cake accuracy was pretty bad. It wasdry and mushy. The risotto had fresh components, but it was more like sticky rice. No sauce to speak of. I asked if this is howthey always do their risotto, and she said yes and left. The steak was not a great cut. Thin and had a few tuff spots. And theirseasoning is just monteray seasoning. I had one bite of the risotto and crab cake each. Making it so that I ate less than halfmy meal. The waitress asked if I wanted to go boxes. I said no because I didn't enjoy them. She said ok, I'll be back with yourcheck. ... The fact that she didn't even ask what I disliked speaks volumes. So please save your money.
Haven't had very good luck the last couple times my wife and I had dinner at Redwood but decided to give it another shot last night. Not sure what changed, but our dinner was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Great experience all around. I highly recommend giving them another shot if you've had a bad experience over the last year. They definitely listen to the feedback and strive to improve their service. So happy to have one of our favorite spots back on the list! Compliments to the kitchen working the night of 5/11.
I had the Delmonico with grilled onions and scallops. the food was great and our server Kevin was amazing.
Delicious! I absolutely loved the filet; the brie was incredible. We considered ordering the nachos but thought it might be too much food. However, when we saw other tables getting them, we regretted not ordering them as they looked huge and delicious. So, next time, we’ll definitely give them a try. That was the largest plate of nachos I’ve ever seen, so I’m sure we’ll have leftovers next time, too. I haven't had a bad meal here yet; everything has been tasty each time I've visited, and our server was very friendly and got all our orders right.
