Pizza Hut - Flint

This location of Pizza Hut isn't the cleanest—far from it! However, the customer service has been excellent. I've experienced this consistently during my last four visits with my sons. If you can overlook the shop's rough appearance, you'll be pleased with your pizza.

I recently visited this new restaurant in the area for the first time. The service was average, and the ambiance could use some improvement. It was quite quiet inside, which meant that the chefs and staff could easily hear conversations in the kitchen; some background music in the dining area would help mask that chatter. I’ve always loved pizza, but unfortunately, this place didn’t live up to my expectations based on my travels. I feel that more attention should be paid to the guests and the quality of the food, which should be served warm, if not hot.

I don't want to tear this place completely into shredders, because overall the food was good, it was only at this point. It took almost 40 minutes for my table to get drinks. While we waited for our drinks to arrive, we got the food order that took very long to get him to the table. It would be one thing if it was up to really busy at the time, but there was our table and another table there in time. There were talks about getting up and giving up the whole dinner idea, but we decided to wait. Fortunately, the pizza was good because our service and server was definitely not.

I was offered another discount, and maybe one day I’ll give them another chance to deliver on their promises, but I won’t forget this experience. This all happened five months ago. UPDATE: I went back today, January 11, 2018, hoping to use my discount, but the night manager refused to apply it to a sale pizza. Now there's a new policy about an apology pizza? Really? She was unprofessional and I had to ask to speak with her manager, but she wouldn’t let me, and instead told me to come back tomorrow! After starving all night? How generous of her. I absolutely cannot recommend the Flint Miller Road location! The manager informed me that they are no longer owned by the company, but that seems like no improvement at all. Plus, I felt financially strained when I ordered a pan pizza. I’m done!

My family went here for dinner tonight. There was only 1 other family there so it was NOT busy. We wanted to start with cheese sticks. We were told they were out of all appetizers because they had a huge party come in the day before. Their phone rang pretty much the entire time we were there and no one would answer it! Again...they were NOT busy. The manager yelled commands from the kitchen to the other workers. It all made for a very unpleasant dining experience. Being a former Pizza Hut employee, I felt the whole operation was very unprofessional. We will not be going back.
