Giving 5 stars because food and service was seriously good, like reviews said. Buuuut... owner needs to read these reviews. It's way too loud. Feel like I'm in a nightclub. Because of how loud it is, probably wouldn't come back. It's not fun not being able to have a conversation at dinner.
I love the decor here. Everybody is so friendly. I had Carne Asada and chicken. The food came out at a reasonable time. It was very delicious. I felt like we all over ate. Sitting down at these restaurants really makes you wonder what it's like to eat at a restaurant in Mexico. This place may have came close to the experience. Plenty of tables to eat at here. So bring your friends and bring your families they can take care of all of you. Everything is super fresh here. I should come back more often.
Came here for a birthday. We were seated right away for a party of 6. The server was very kind and promptly took our drink orders. When it came time to order we shared the platter and fajitas meals. It comes with the sides of the rice/guacamole/pico de gallo and tortillas. The tortillas are nice and hot when they come out. The meats in the fajitas were seasoned well. The chicken did come out a little dry though. On another day we came here there was a love band performing for the people on the outdoor seating area. On this day the restaurant was pretty quiet. They did throw a sombrero on me and sang happy birthday though and provided a little dessert.
My wife knows I love Spanish food and she found this gem. All you can mexican food!!! OMG!! Yasss yasss! The food was spectacular, everything I tasted was pretty much 5stars. Drinks, apps, main courses, snacks. Service was very quick and I dont think I seen anything empty the whole time I was there. The building itself was a nice Mexican themed set up. I would definitely recommend to anyone to try this place out. All you can eat or not please try.
Los Cucos was open today at the location on 1121 S Fort Apache but was difficult to locate due to it still had the name up on the building of a former mexican food restaurant. The food was good, the wait staff was excellent, I would have given more stars had music not been so loud, and had the pricesbeen according to what the website stated, instead of higher.Other than that, I did like the interior design of the wood beam ceilings. Hopefully they will realize that the noise level needs to be reduced enough for good date night conversation. I hope they do well in the future, they seemed to be very nice people.
