The Net By George - Flagler Beach

The service and food at this restaurant are excellent, making it a hidden gem! I highly recommend it. My partner and I visited from Chicago looking for fresh seafood and a relaxing atmosphere, and this place was perfect. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The food was fantastic and we made great memories with friends. I hope others enjoy it as much as we did. Cheers!

Previously called the fisherman's net at its last location nearer the Flagler pier. same great food. have been eating there for 16 years. was bummed when they closed 2 yr ago. am overjoyed they reopened in new location.it is one of 2 places in the entire Volusia Flagler area that serves New England style WHOLE BELLY clams not clam strips.

We visited The Net after a long day of driving on Saturday evening without a reservation and George welcomed us with a big smile. We ordered a glass of wine and our meal but when our meal took a little longer than usual, George brought us some delicious crab dip and crackers to tide us over. I had the Italian Red Snapper with roasted vegetables that was so fresh and delicious. The fish was grilled to perfection and the veggies were seasoned well. My husband had shrimp that were outstanding. We finished our meal by sharing a chocolate torte that was amazing. This is a restaurant where the focus is on the food and the service and George and his staff do an excellent job!!

After reading some local reviews, we were excited to give this restaurant a try. Our first observation was that it was quite warm inside. The air conditioning finally kicked in once we had finished our meal. My husband was pleased with his Ipswich clams, but we found them to be a bit overpowering in broth. At $29, it felt like they were worth $25 for the broth and $4 for the clams. We also ordered the shrimp parmesan, but it was nothing special that would make us want to return. It seems like we may have just chosen the wrong dishes. The service was friendly, Jeanette was nice and the young man was very efficient.

The restaurant offers a fantastic seafood dish! Be sure to explore their weekly specials. The ambiance is more laid-back compared to other restaurants, with a lovely beach view, although seating may be limited so make a reservation. The service from the waitstaff is excellent and they ensure that everything is to your liking. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try for a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
