Osteria Della Campana - FERRARA

I went with my family and it was a very relaxing and nice atmosphere. The waitress was super kind and made our experience lovely. The food was also delicious. Can only recommend!

90 seconds from the town center (Palazzo Estense) (and 25 seconds from the Hotel di Prati), a huge menu of local specialities, superbly prepared, served in a cozy restaurant with cheerful, eager, charming staff. Specially recommended: the grille' scamorza cheese in speck antipasto and the rolled rabbit stuffed with artichoke (and other stuff) main dish. But everything looks great it's difficult to decide. HIghest ratings!

This restaurant was just steps from our hotel. We decided to give it a try after a long day of sightseeing and walking. I am so glad we did. It is a family-run place, very friendly, full of a mix of tourists and locals. The food was tasty, servings more than ample, and the house wine was very good. The prices were reasonable as well. I only wish we had tried it on our first night in Ferrara so we could have gone back for another meal.

If you are looking for a delightful dinner with wonderful wine in a comfortable family-osteria, this is your place. You are looking for a pretentious, overpriced, tourist trap, please go elsewhere. Osteria Della Campana is a jewel!

Ho pranzato in questo bel locale nel centro storico di Ferrara con 2 amiche. Siamo state accolte molto bene dal personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo mangiato un buon tagliere di affettati e formaggi tipici e dei primi molto buoni il tutto accompagnato da sangiovese sfuso che non era male. Il prezzo superonesto. Non ho messo 5 stelle solo per il bagno che avrebbe bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione.
