Cheap and oh so cheerful. Excellent, casual Malaysian restaurant. BYO is always a plus. The food was some of the best Malaysian food I've had in Sydney at a fraction of the price.

The only place to get decent eats in Kings Cross. Unlike that yuppie/hipster **** you find everywhere here; this is real Chinese Malaysian food made by real Chinese Malaysians, and it's real cheap.

This place is fantastic! The Kings Cross Potts Point area is a bit short on great cheap eats give Baba House a go if you're in the mood for a very satisfying, comforting meal. Had the Beef Roti Canai and Chicken Nasi Lemak both cooked perfectly. Plus it's great value and BYO too.

I go often because I love Malaysian and Indonesian food. My favourites at Baba House are the Nasi Lemak (both beef rendang and curried chicken) and mapa tofu. It's not flash and the service is minimal but the food is great and cheap and makes me feel like I'm back in Indonesia eating at a warung.
