The laundry has a strong brunch game, strong enough to make enduring the wait and crappy hostesses worth it.
Meh! The host initially tried to sit us in front of the restroom doors even though the restaurant was less than half full.
Great little spot for lunch in downtown Fenton. Great menu and friendly staff. Once we seen how big the sandwiches were we ended splitting the State Bank-onater. For dessert had a piece of caramel pecan cheesecake w/ dark chocolate drizzle paired with ashort pour of Weller full proof bourbon.
There is a lot to like about the restaurant, so my review is pretty specific to my dish. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and the half hour wait was pretty reasonable for late morning on a Saturday. My partner got the tempeh bowl andthat was very tasty. I got the tamago and while the presentation was nice, it was a bit of a mess. I enjoy making tamagoyakiand various basic types of sushi, so I was excited to see this on the menu. It was edible, but the dish really missed the markfor me. First off, the hot sauce overpowered everything. When I could actually taste the eggs, they tasted mostly of soy sauceand not some of the other delightful ingredients I was expecting. The sushi rice was also undercooked. Not quite crunchy, butdefinitely more than a few minutes underdone. There were ingredients missing as well. The menu highlights that the dish has noriflakes. As you can see from the picture there was more than one, so I guess it was technically accurate! But the scallions hadapparently gone completely AWOL. Maybe they had abandoned ship in protest of the hot sauce. The avocado was nicely ripe, atleast. I wouldn 't give a definite 'no ' to eating there again, but I would hope that other dishes were better.
