Pot Molle - Favrskov

We always pay a visit to Pøt Mølle Restaurant and Castle Inn Slotskro when visiting family and friends in the Hinnerup/Hadsten/Hammel area. Located in the woods with rolling hills, Pøt Mølle 's classic architecture and cozy surroundings include a lovely pond, stream, hiking trail, and a history as a grain mill, later a water mill, and today is a restaurant serving hearty and classic food and drink with a lovely patio season and weather permitting. Check it out. You 'll be glad you did.

Very disappointed by being served instant powder bearnaise sauce despite being assured by the waiter that the sauce was the genuine product made in the kitchen by the chef. Delightful location with friendly staff but food was a let down. Updated 26/6/23. Both my son, who accompanied me on Friday evening, and I are are Master Chefs. I with almost 50 years experience as Chef de Parti Saucier Chef de Parti Garde Mange in a variety of hotels and restaurants in Europe and beyond and my son 25 years spent in Danish a la carte restaurants. We can both immediately tell the difference between a genuine egg yolk and butter based sauce and a pot full of garbage whipped up from a powder or dished out of a bucket. Should the anonymous owner wish, one of us could trot along and educate him in that which he obviously knows very little.

Nice restaurant in the most beautiful surroundings. Attention to the loss of servant. A nice humorous presentation of the menu albeit it requires a good linguistic opportunity to understand the chief servant. Highly recommended for the family party. Do not know the price level when we were invited but super food on hot plates. Twice up.
