Rockwell's At Nemacolin - Farmington

Beautiful rooms with lovely views. Outstanding butler and housekeeping services. Heated swimming pools, gym and spa services available. Fun activities and sights for kids and adults. Definitely recommend borrowing one of their electric bikes and exploring the property.Rooms: 5/5

I love staying at the Nemacolin. It is my favorite relaxing getaway. I love staying at the resort and not having to leave. They have shuttles that take your everywhere around the clock. The restaurants are always delicious and the cocktails at the Chateau hotel bar in the lobby are really good. There’s no pool better than the peak. I love going in the winter time when there is snow on the ground as the pool is heated and you can go from the pool to the hot tub. I recommend this resort to everyone and hope to come back in a few months!

Although the rooms are of a dated taste, they are roomie and luxurious with marble and Standard jetted tubs.The fifth floor exclusive club room with its free after dinner liquor bar and root beer float station was a favorite nightly haunt.High prices are to be expected at a luxury hotel, however this is by far the most absorbent, and they just seem to nickel and dime you with everything from $20 for Yoga to almost $500 for golf with rented clubs.The place is absolutely beautiful with stunning grounds which we enjoyed on the E-bikes without a charge.

There is no place like this in the US! None that comes close. What do you get when one of the richest billionaires on the planet decides to open a 2000+ acre resort and never holds back on any expenditure in order to keep improving the place? What do you get when his daughter, Maggie Hardy, continues to grow and innovate and perfect the place? What do you get when a resort takes Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons customer service and makes sure they take such great care of their guests and their employees alike to the point that practically all employees agree this is the best place to work? You get Nemacolin. It’s a magical place. Nothing like it. Jorge the manager and Keith and his team of original butlers and the entire OG valet staff and Andrew the new activities manager all are irreplaceable. But when you think you’ve been impressed enough comes along a housekeeper that blows you away and deserves accolades and mentioning: Miss Stephanie Davis! Wow. She is amazing and deserves to be recognized. I love this place and love their staff!

So disappointed upon arrival as they did not mention the ongoing construction with so much closed. Restaurant food is not very good, lack of professional service for what they call a “private resort.” They have an event tonight and closed the pool are with no signage for the kids area to bowl.Not paying the price of a so-called five star resort and getting service of a two star resort atmosphere. .
