UPDATE: I went back a few days later and brought my daughters with me. Once again the food and service was incredible. They feel welcome and like family. I ordered the bowl with chicken as I last time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We also ordered a dozen falafels. I get used to a falafel that is a bit dry and not so tasty, but this is not the case that her falafelses in the house of Falafel. They are handmade daily and are simply incredible. The outside has a beautiful crunch, but the inside is soft and wonderful. If you like hummus, garlic and a little spicy sauce, try their OMG sauce on your bowl or wrap. It has a little kick. You smell like garlic for a day and no one will be around you, but it's worth it. You can customize your bowl or packaging. Remember it as a kind of subway style where you go the line and can tell them what you want. You have a variety of things to choose to put it. See the attached photo. Most of them are vegan friendly. Make sure to get into their points deal where you can earn a free bowl or wrap. All you have to do is give them your phone number. I told all my friends and family about this place. It's just so good. Stop reading this review and going. Tell David and Rania that John Funny Bald Man Pullum sent you.
I've never eaten in a better falafel/sandwich shop. This is by far the freshest and most delicious falafel I've ever eaten. The baba ganouj was delicious (and a great bathroom for the falafel balls). My friend had a bowl of beef and chicken and a stunning series of fresh blows. The small details with food are noticed, from the sum of seasoned onions to homemade pimples. The service is friendly, warm, competent and personalized. I'm happy to eat here again.
This restaurant is one of the best Middle Eastern spots we've visited! We live in Dearborn and have been on a mission to try as many Middle Eastern eateries as possible. In the past few weeks, we've been to over 18 different places, and none of them can compare to the House of the Falafel! One of the owners was there, and she made sure to provide us with exceptional service—she was incredibly warm and welcoming. As for the food... it's absolutely amazing. Every item is perfectly seasoned, and you can customize your meal with any of the 30 add-on options for your wrap or bowl. We'll definitely be returning here often, even though it's farther from our home than the restaurants in Dearborn.
We stopped by for lunch in the afternoon and were truly blown away by the incredible flavors we experienced. I've dined at many Mediterranean restaurants, but I've never enjoyed the food as much as I did here. I had visited on a day when it was unusually crowded, so I wouldn't recommend that specific time, as it was quite packed. Word has definitely spread about this place, and we will definitely be returning frequently.
Today, I tried the homemade Meatloaf sandwich, which Carla served on a delicious sub bun. The Meatloaf was fantastic, and the grilled onions and cheese were excellent additions. I also loved the decor, especially because I could actually buy some of it! I found several items that would make great closing gifts for my real estate clients. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their Alfredo lasagna! Two thumbs up for Carla and her family's food, service, and store. Great job!
