It's a uniquely quirky spot: both my non-African and African dining companions gave it a thumbs up. We definitely plan to return.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The flavors were excellent, making it a great place to explore new dishes and step out of your comfort zone.
This family-owned restaurant specializes in fried food and offers a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the fish and plantain combo since the beans and rice option wasn’t available. I enjoyed the meal, though it took longer to arrive than I expected. However, they were quite busy with take-out orders during lunchtime when I visited.
The food taste really good and it has the traditional taste of liberian food. My concern is with the food size. I know that food prices are increasing by the day. Please increase my size when I come by.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food. It was our first time eating Liberian cuisine, and the waitress took lots of time to help explain to us each item on the menu. We had rice and fish and a side of plantains. She gave us a spicy sauce on the side to flavor to our preference. It was very good. I'll be back.
