Golden Krust Caribbean - Far Rockaway

This golden crust is great and most likely the best out of all out of all Golden Crust through my experience. They are very friendly and professional, pleasant faces. The only Goden Crust I have ever been to where the food is always fresh and doesn't taste like it was prepared yesterday or 2 days ago. The food is always yummy. I have never been disappointed.

I work in the area so I was told to visit this particular Golden Crust on the Conduit. I have to say the food is quality food. I especially love the rice and peas since you can actually taste all the right spices and coconut milk. The service is surperb.

If your not family and/or close to the staff you will probably be skipped in line, less food on your plate, Or even both. Constantly messing up orders and very poor customer service skills. Food quality is excellent. Not very organized when it comes to serving customers.

Friendly staff, ridiculously hot in the summer...Pro Tip: Patties are best first thing in the morning, fresh out of the oven, as afterwards the crust just hardens unpalatably bad. Was excited to have some genuinely spicy beef patties but then evidently people complained and now they 're just generically spicy safe for babies kind of spicy though at least the patties are what I call authentic patties and not the phony big looking ones even Golden Krust itself puts out in the supermarket freezers where they look huge but it 's just air inside...here the patties are real patties, not huge looking but totally filled up with that meat paste! Unfortunately, the meat paste is only slightly better than the other commercial nonsense offered by the likes of, say, Taco Bell: thin on meat and just mostly thickened goo.

I’ve lived in NYC for half my life, and as a Jamaican, I can confidently say that this is the best oxtail I’ve ever had. The chef doesn’t just stop at oxtail; she prepares an incredible meal overall. The lady who cooks my food is also very respectful.
