Hello Dana, I'm watching you and Guy, he's eating kale soup. I'm Portuguese from New Bedford and oyster crackers do not go in kale soup. Find a good Portuguese bread maker and have her make Portuguese pops. But the soup really looked good! I work in an Italian Restaurant in Lakeland, FL and I taught the cook to make it and almost everyone that true it loves it.
I don't usually post reviews, but I've got to let the people know that Dana's has the best deli sandwiches in at least a 100 mile radius. I ate the best Reuben I've had outside of NYC here. Prices are a little high per plate, but the portions are pretty huge: the perfect size for sharing. I'd strongly recommend going here, just make sure they're open beforehand because they have odd hours.
My husband and I finally made it over for brunch yesterday on our anniversary. I have been hearing from friends that we HAVE to try this restaurant I now see why everyone was so insistant that we do. The food was absolutely delicious! The Haddock chowder was so good we took 2 bowls to go, the Ruben, quiche, fruit salad...ALL was amazing and the service was friendly and helpful. A comfortable woodsy, cool and shady spot to relax on a warm summer day and have some amazing food. We will most definitely be back and have joined the ranks of fans in town encouraging everyone we know to go try this place out.
Great service delicious food. I could eat that turkey club sandwich every other day. We were a group of 6 people and we all enjoyed. The waitress was very careful about allergies. I highly recommend Dana's Kitchen!
