Maverik Adventure's First Stop - Fallon

Maverik consistently offers great gas prices, clean restrooms, and a fantastic coffee maker. However, they really need to improve the organization of their coffee supplies. The refrigerated creamers were either empty or not functioning, the syrups were depleted, and there were no additional flavor options or individual creamers available. I returned a few hours later to grab a coffee before leaving town, but nothing had changed. I ended up having to stop by Safeway to use my own creamer. This happened on August 27, 2022.

It's not difficult to feel happy. On August 21, 2022, at 2:30 PM, I encountered a staff member who unfortunately lacked personality and customer service skills. I genuinely hope she finds a career that she loves, as this one doesn't seem to be the right fit for her.

Upon entering the store, I noticed it was nice and clean, with plenty of items to browse. There were two women behind the counter and a man who had just stepped away as I walked in. One woman was leaning against the counter with her arms outstretched, while the other was assisting a customer. The woman at the counter completely ignored me, despite making eye contact. Instead, she greeted someone behind me, then turned to the other cashier, complaining about her discomfort as she hunched over, as if she were experiencing menstrual cramps. After going back to her spot, she still didn’t ask if I needed help, but when another customer came in, she promptly offered her assistance. Feeling sidelined, I left the line and approached the other cashier, asking if she could print a receipt for me. Unfortunately, she also gave me the cold shoulder compared to her more engaging interactions with other customers. I've never felt that my race would be an issue, but at 86 lbs and 5 feet tall as a Mexican American, I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome around those two individuals. Your experience might be different, though!

Gas Stations are often good for other things than gas, restrooms, drinks etc, this one has the best hot dogs in North America, and better than WienerSchnitzel?

I know my car's gas tank capacity well. I pulled in with about 2 gallons left in my tank. Pump 5 was weirdly slow, and in the end the screen indicated my car took 9.9 gallons. My car has never taken more than 9.5 gallons in the 5 years I've had it. I phoned the Maverik main office. Don't know if they will check on this. Buyer beware. Cheap priced gas, but I paid for more than I received.
