Ranch Cafe - Falkland

My friends and I often stop at the Ranch Cafe for lunch during our motorcycle rides. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoy sitting on the small patio and the wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Last time, I tried the tempura prawns and they were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Who would have thought that right in Falkland, there would be this gem. This cafe has a lot of character and great pizza. We had the Vegetarian and it was fantastic! I wish they would deliver to Fintry, but it’s 50 minutes away.

We have enjoyed breakfast and lunches here over the years and happy to say it’s better than ever. Hubby loved his “ranch” burger! I ventured off my usual BLT and had the “elk” burger. It was served on bannock and was pretty good. Too big for me to finish.

I have always wanted to try Ranch Cafe and brought my visiting sister for a drive in the country from Vernon to Falkland to have a special lunch. We were greeted as soon as we came through the doors. Service was very friendly and prompt. Cindy was our waitress and had our drinks to us within minutes. She was very efficient. The place started to fill up with locals which is always a good sign. We told her we wanted to share a sandwich. The Bison Rueben. She brought it out within 10 minutes on two plates for us. Already divided which was greatly appreciated. It was the perfect portion as we wanted a lighter lunch. The french fries were hot and very crispy. The grilled bread was not greasy at all. Every bite was delicious.. Will definitely be back for another meal. The menu has lots of variety. It is hard to choose !!
