As newcomers to the area, we recently tried their food for the first time and found everything to be very delicious and enjoyable.

On July 19, 2024, we visited JJ's Fries and Chicken. We ordered shrimp fries, oysters, and fried chicken wings with fries. Everything was fairly decent, except for the overly salty and overcooked fried chicken wings. The customer service was acceptable, and the restaurant itself was clean, but there is definitely room for improvement, particularly regarding the excessively salty chicken wings. I wouldn't recommend this place to others, and we won't be returning.

I recently visited this restaurant with my sister, and our experience was quite disappointing. The fish was overly salty and undercooked. The curly fries and steak fries were hard and lacked seasoning. The hushpuppies were excessively salty, and the peach cobbler for dessert tasted stale. If you're aiming to serve soul food, I suggest you seek guidance from someone more experienced in the cuisine. This wasn't it at all.
