フィードバックを提供するI ordered the sushi combination and a salmon hand roll, along with a pot tea. tee was as expected, the sushi roll was honestly nothing special, the sushi was a bit disappointing. I expected a little more variety, and the fish was very dirty. the best was the spicy thunfish roll, which was actually spicy and great! not sure if I would come back.
Overall, fantastic experience eating here! The ambiance was like being in S.Korea, food was fresh and prepared by the chefs at their counter, and service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the $30/all you can eat sushi-up to 8 rolls. I ended up eating only 4! Such large and delicious portions. Well worth it. I'll be eating here again.
The late afternoon was perfect for our visit to Alaska! Since we couldn't keep track of day or night, we were thrilled to find that they were open. We tried the California roll and the Crippler roll, and both were phenomenal and very affordable!
The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, if you're used to top-quality fresh sashimi and sushi rolls, this might not be the place for you. The baked salmon roll was mostly covered in sauce and wasn't very impressive. We spent $130 for two rolls, one hand roll, one beer, lychee Soju, and ribeye. Just a heads up: the ramen they serve is Nongshim Shin Ramyun.
Here's a summary of what we ordered: - **Vegetable Tempura**: The tempura sauce was overly salty, and the tempura itself was thicker than what I typically expect. - **Shrimp Fried Rice**: It was average and just what you would anticipate. - **Chirashi**: Fresh and authentic, although the bowl was a bit small, the fish did taste fresh. - **Unagidon**: The rice wasn’t sticky, the avocado was hard, and while the unagi was good, the sauce was overpowering. The egg did help fill the bowl. - **Spider Roll**: A basic roll with soft shell crab, just as expected. - **Salmon Tempura Roll**: I could barely taste or see the salmon; it felt like an upgraded California roll. - **Chicken Katsu Plate**: The salad was light and enjoyable! The chicken katsu was perfectly fried, but I should have requested the sauce on the side. - **Beef Teriyaki Plate**: This tasted more like bulgogi than teriyaki, but it was still good and certainly enough to serve two people. Overall, I wouldn’t go back or recommend this restaurant. If I weren’t visiting Alaska, I would have preferred to cook for myself.
