Le Hastings Bar - Évreux

We had to go to evreux for administrative reasons. After we have sorted our business, we decided to visit the cathedrale the museum. the museum was closed with the lunch so that we can find somewhere near to eat. we found this bar/café on travel advisors. Service...was fast, a small but sufficient menu. the good was very good. my partner had steak/green brooms, I had a chicken burger/chips. cider and a crepe each to finish. the kerl next to us had a plate of cold roast beef/salad, which also looked good. À-Café in the city center without probation, but delicious food. I'm not so sure to call it pub. no British beer advertised, although we ordered from our table and did not go into cash. but good French.

Just a short walk from the cathedral, this is as close to a pub as you get in France. Steak and chips and a couple of beers, this was perfect and not expensive.

Quite a large corner pub/ bistro with a cool atmosphere run by some French who obviously have a fondness for all things British. Quaint English advertising Breweryana adorns the walls and ceilings and convey a cosy interior. The food is typically Normadaise though with large...portions of grilled meats and cream and apple sauce. Salads are also very hearty and there 's a small selection of bar snacks such as croque monsieur. Several draught beers and a huge selection of single malt whiskies add to this pub 's charms. Prices are fair and the staff seemed nice. Let 's hope it stays that way as some others such bars in the town have 'gone Gastro ' ; highly recommended!

Des salades copieuses et savoureuses qui font largement offices de plat principal ! De très bonnes pommes de terre sautées à l'ail ! Une ambiance agréable !

J'y vais régulièrement et ne suis jamais déçue. Un service rapide et convivial dans un cadre chaleureux et familial. Une large palette de bières. On y est comme à la maison.
