Divinus - Évora

The food is wonderful, specialized in local cuisine (now try everything with the local cod fish! . The waiting staff is very friendly and will help you choose the right combination of courses to make your meals delightful.

Unbelievable experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Chef and employees have quickly adapted to one of us vegan and accomodated us incredibly well. The cheesecake was one of the best desserts ever eaten. As constructive criticism, the lack of ambience music is not something in focus and if you stay at the hotel and have breakfast in the same place to make the transition to a fine restaurant. Fortunately, both the staff and the food make up for it and will of course return again and again when Im in Évora.

It’s really good especially considering it’s a hotel restaurant. You can’t beat the exterior and ambiance. Beautiful arches! The service is fantastic, so fantastic. The food is on the higher end price wise but also quality wise. Everything we had was delicious. The porco preto basically melted in my mouth. I don’t like meringue but their dessert was beautiful, interactive, and not too sweet. It was honestly a great meal even though we were exhausted that night. We had the red wine that’s made there, and it was very good. They also gave us glasses of champagne that’s made there (well sparkling wine) which is our favorite way to start a meal! Even better we were able to bring what we couldn’t finish to our room.

Had a nice dinner on our first evening in Évora. Service is solid wine list is interesting but expensive. Salad appetizer was rather bland but the tuna appetizer was tasty. Entrees were both good especially the black pork. Desserts were just ok.

Good and aesthetically pleasing food. Coupled with excellent service. Prior to arriving, the staff had what I would assume either done research or from past experience with other customers of similar ethnicity, provided us with a round table which we thought was very considerate and appreciated. Would gladly visit again.
