The Bistro At Marshdale - Evergreen

As usual, a top notch experience in every aspect food, service, ambiance and the sunset views over the valleys and mountains was to die for. A special night at a special place.

Great ambience. Service is top of the line. They built a fire in the fireplace at our request! Food was excellent although it was a tad more spicy than we like. The matcha dumpling appetizer was excellent! The pasta was super spicy and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked but again kind of over spicy. The tiramisu was not soo great. I actually told them. The flavor was good but the consistency was rubbery tough! Not quite what we were hoping for. We recommend this wonderful place, with the cautions noted.

The Peppermint Elk was amazing, but we can 't recommend the seared tuna. The tuna itself was overcooked and it was very thin so overall it wasn 't a great cut of tuna. The sides were were all great and the cocktails were very good as well but big miss on the tuna.

The service and ambiance were very good for my wife's birthday celebration. Drinks and Appetizers were wonderful. only complaint was that my Lamb T-Bones, ordered Medium Rare, were too Medium and quite Grissly.

Scenic drive via HW285. Service and food were outstanding. View from the sunroom is lovely. Several of the patrons at two tables next to us discovered they were neighbors and were quite noisy interacting. Piano player was a nice touch.
