C J's Chicago Dogs - Evergreen

The best authentic Chicago restaurant in Colorado. Chicago dogs are perfect, Italian roast beef is amazing (perfect) and the gyros are incredible (perfect). Oh, and the tamales are exactly like I remembered too

OMG...this place has THE BEST freaking hot dogs and gyros! The service is simply unbeatable as well. I'm in Colorado Springs but this little gem is worth the road trip. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

A great little Chicago Style eatery in Evergreen. I have tried just about everything they offer and have been blown away every time. The young woman who works there is always pleasant and adds a great value to the business.

CJ's is an extremely charming option for those who want to break away from the other mediocre restaurant choices in downtown Evergreen. Go in, get a Chicago dog, eat it somewhere on the street. Seating is not really available, so don't expect to be able to eat your dog at CJ's. EVERYTHING is Vienna, the way it should be for a great hot dog hole in the wall. Food is great, extremely well priced and service is speedy.

Don't be discouraged by the state of the property, we've been enjoying CJ's for years. The floor and bathroom are a bit sketchy but the food is awesome and there's plenty of outdoor seating at the end of the boardwalk.
