Sauced - Evansville

My wife and I went there for our 44 year anniversary. My wife loved her musshroom ragu and the cheese plate that we got for an appetizer. I ordered the grilled chicken and the meatballs off of the ala-carte menu. The 3 small meatballs were good but the grilled chicken that I got was disappointing. There was no way that it was more than 1/4 of a whole chicken breast. The cheese board in my opinion was OK but they keep the portions of everything on the board small. Now granted, I do not expect a meal on a cheese board, and I have had several over the years, but this one was lacking in productT he overall cost of the meal, compared to what you get was over priced. Service was good but expected more when you live in a smaller city with limited good places to eat out.

This place was greatI ordered the spaghetti with marinara - the marinara tasted fresh and bright, like happy tomatoes.

Eating is great, but the specials are there. my only recommendation for this restaurant would be to season interieur with something. the inner is clean and uplifted, but there is almost nothing to see except the people with whom they have come to eat and who wants to stare at someone for 90 minutes. unless you've eaten with me, in what case I get it.
