Unicorn Cafe - Evanston

The nicest staff of any coffee shop ever!! Super adorable atmosphere with an amazing, decently priced atmosphere. I’m from Brooklyn where hipster staff treat it as if it is a privilege to get to eat there and this was the complete opposite. I highly recommend!

Great local place that's been around for a while and is a town fixture. Has a great atmosphere to sit down and have a coffee with someone or work on your laptop. If you're looking for super fast, cheap service, this is not the place for you. The staff are friendly and committed to remembering regulars. They serve colectivo brand coffee which is delicious as well as an assortment of good pastries. There is sometimes a shortage of outlets and they do only take cash or debit, but all in all still an amazing experience.

This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is usually fairly busy. Occasionally, it can be completely full, making it difficult to find a seat, but during the majority of my visits, I've been able to find a spot. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is quite good. My only issue is that it gets extremely humid inside, to the extent that the windows fog up when it's cold outside. Additionally, the Wi-Fi can be a bit unreliable, so you can't always count on it. Overall, it's a great place to study and meet up near the Northwestern campus.

I stumbled upon this café and it was a delightful discovery! The logo is perfect—who doesn’t love a unicorn? The ambiance strikes a great balance between calm and vibrant, and the barista is both energetic and friendly. Highly recommended!

This is a charming and unpretentious café. Don’t expect single-origin coffee or anything fancy; instead, come for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.
