Cheap and personal not friendly we went here to lunch, not wine tasting, but definitiw the feeling torn off. the first page of the menu showed a 2 or 3 cursed for a certain price. then the next sides had pizzas and sides...with a parlor for them. However, we had to pay for the 2 curs lunch for our pizzas and side demolished with $16), and the pizza oven was operated by a trainee, which led to burned edges for our pizzas.
A week away to relax, turned to our last day because of dilusso bad. before booked how their website said they were busy and after we here some paints in the run of the years we never thought to review the last reviews as it was always...wonderful but we should. there was no booking at the end, although we had a confirmation for lunch and a tasting (which we decided not to go further after the terrible lunch) badly in disrespect, rude owners and staff. we ordered the 3 cursor option. $40 plus for a gluten-free margarita pizza as extra (can not even eat it as it burned on a side and raw still on the other) so it ended up cost much more than what it was on the menu for the less than desirable 2 courses we tried. they could not tell us the ingredients of one of the desserts as they buy them. had to stand up and ask for wine glasses after our bottle of wine was bought on the table. older lady just bought us eating the teller and went away without saying a word. when we went to pay, we would hear the owner (old man) say how much he doesn't like Sydney people. It seems as if it were the only customers that are there, so he should be grateful. do not recommend this winery/restaurant.
4 weeks before this local weingut booked. it was a perfect spring day to dinate alfresco, but we were picked into the dark dimm tasting area. our table for two was the size of a pension home seat in the free . chairs uncomfortable. the waiting staff was polite, but not helpful. we had to ask ourselves to be served, and when we did, it was just unpleasant. positiw: eating is served in time. arancini balls and zucchini flowers were beautiful. linguine was beautiful, lamb cutlets very basic . not the $58 per person worth .. to make the dinge something unpalatable, came a table of 9 girls a fuss over sitting opportunities and of course were sitting outside when our request for 2 was rejected. the recombination gives a better weingut.
Girls weekend in Mudgee was supposed to be a memorable occasion with a long lunch with beautiful surroundings, comfortable seating and good service. None of this happened, the place was tired looking, cobwebs, uncomfortable seating. The service would have been good if only there was...some. We had to continually leave our seat to ask for just about everything from drinks to food. It would have been nice to have eaten together, meals arrived at different intervals the meals were not well presented definitely not value for money. The main meals arrived while some of us were still waiting for our entrees this seemed to be happening to other diners as well. We will always remember our lunch in Mudgee but for all the wrong reasons, one of the most disorganised restaurants we have ever encountered
