Mami's Mexican Grill - Eugene

Favorite Mexican joint in Eugene. No cheese on tacos and cabbage instead of salad. Great sauce. Great. The Tamales are amazing.

Definitely the best Mexican in Eugene. The best tacos El Pastor I have ever had and their nachos are fantastic! The food is always cooked to order and food is fresh. For the meat on my nachos I chose shrimp, they were crisp (definitely cooked fresh right there) and taste like they were fresh off of the grill. I actually had shrimp taco before this and they add a great marinade and sweet tasting, they paired them with mango salsa which was out of this world. The service is on par with the food, friendly, fantastic and hard working. Thanks for reintroducing me to Pastor Mami's and keep up the A+ food and service!!! Erik H.

I flew in today and Mami's was recommended by the front desk at our hotel. I am not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best meals at a Mexican restaurant I have ever had. It was stunningly good and I would give it more stars if I could.

I really really really like Mexican food, and my dear friends at Mami's make very good mexican food. I can tell you the jalapeno burrito is amazing and the people are even better. I am so stoked they have found success taking over this spot from a really lousy predecessor. Some of their food is a little americanized which, depending on your tolerance for heat and authenticity may actually be a good thing. I have a zero-spice wimp of a friend who can enjoy this place too, and the Tamales are legit. Plus they can accommodate a gluten free person if you are the tolerant sort who hangs out with the gastrically crippled. Update 9.8.22: still delicious! I am having more salads these days and am quite addicted to the taco salad with carnitas.

Excellent value and quality food. I had the jalapeño crunch burrito and it was both enormous and delicious. Can't wait to visit again and try some of their tacos. Will definitely be going back.
