A trip to the Verulam KFC drive thru will result in you waiting for too long for any order. The store has a order taker taking orders from cars before getting to the window. This isn't kfc procedure and they do it so that the actual waiting time of the customer will not reflect on the timer at the order window or the pick up window. As a customer being jammed in the drive thru isn't good when the store is only doing it to make their service delivery seem faster.
