It's incredible and a must try. The owner really has it together and loves what he does, and it really shows. The people who smelled the ride are extraordinary, they make my day when I stop for lunch.
Go here. No really. Side alley NY style pizza. In a small mountain town. It's great!
My experience with Domino's was frustrating—they just couldn't get my order right. So, I decided to try NY Pizza instead, and it completely exceeded my expectations! I loved the sauce, and the size of the pizza was impressive, loaded with plenty of toppings. I noticed the sign that mentioned their family roots are in authentic Italian cuisine from NYC, and the pizza definitely lived up to those standards! The customer service was also better than average. Great job, NY Pizza! I’ll definitely be coming back.
The cleanliness could definitely use some improvement. On both visits to the upper floor, I noticed leftover plates or napkins from previous customers, as well as debris on the floor that went uncleaned for the hour we waited for the kids to finish their meals. Meanwhile, the staff in the kitchen seemed to just be hanging around. I’m fairly certain the well machine has been out of order since last year, and it wasn’t working again this year, which means your only option for a drink is canned soda. The staff appears to be a group of young individuals who don’t seem particularly enthusiastic about their work. However, the pizza is quite good and you can typically grab a bite quickly.
I visited this restaurant with my brother, sister, and some friends, and we all thought the pizza was quite good. We ordered an 18-inch pizza split between cheese and chicken, and I particularly enjoyed the chicken – it was well-seasoned. The restaurant has limited space, with seating available on a second floor and outside. Due to the size constraints, they use paper sheets for food instead of traditional tableware since they don’t have room for a dishwasher. I actually don’t see this as a downside; they are making the most of their space. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience.
