George, the bartender was very pleasant to talk with and he shared some history about Schultz's Crab House. We plan on returning, for sure.
I don't think I've ever opened a fresh bottle of ketchup at a restaurant in my life. Can't speak about the whole menu but the crabs were great, jalapeno poppers and onion rings were also a hit. Steve served us well!
Extremely underwhelmed. Saw the high rating and expected better. With James Beard calling this restaurant a timeless favorite, I was looking forward to a delicious meal with my husband. Sadly the meal was nothing to brag about or recommend to friends/family. We didn't even bother finishing the appetizer or entrees. The crab cake seemed mushy and not well seasoned. The sides were on par with a hole in the wall fried seafood joint. The only thing good I can share is that our
Glad I chose this crab house on my layover. They were out of whole crabs but the orange roughy with lump crab was great and just the right amount of food. Service was great, our server helped us choose us our lunch and was very knowledgeable about all the options. Try the crab bisque while you?re there!
It is a family owned restaurant with a lot of history. Brittany was awesome. She provided outstanding customer service. The crabs came out hot. The $75 crabs were nice and heavy. The crabs were male. The hush puppies were tasty. The broiled lump crab cake was good. No filler was added. The old bay wings were seasoned just right. The AC was cranking(just a heads up for people who get cold easily). The house salad had olives. I went on a Tuesday night and service was quick.
