Solar Da Praia - Esposende

We came off our 2nd day of Greenwalks walking trip and were very happy to be directed here by our hotel close by. We had a full late lunch of bream and it was delicious. Complimentary olives and bread, all followed by an espresso. We had fun with the owner, struggling with Portugese as he brought us a menu in English with a smile. All for less than 20 euros.

I’m a pilgrim on the camino portuguese de santiago. And I’m italian Owner manages the albergue (which is super cute) as well, so I enjoyed the food in this nearby restaurant. Pilgrims: you’ll be happy to taste the pilgrim menu! Others: you’ll enjoy delicious food, above all fish! Don’t miss it!

Apesar de estarmos cedo na mesa, o atendimento foi sofrível e demorado. As ementas precisam de um refresh e as batatas assadas pre-congeladas, cozidas e depois levadas ao óleo fervente. Batatas assadas vão unicamente ao forno. Molhos suspeitos que causam azias.
