Matcha Cafe Maiko Escondido

Love this place. The matcha latte is great. The cheese matcha latte I also enjoyed. It’s foamy and slightly salty but overpriced imo. I’d rather stay with the normal matcha latte.Regrettably got the match latte with kokuto and cream. It’s basically brown sugar jelly added that decreases the amount of matcha latte. The jelly is tasteless and I didn’t like it.

I love matcha and let’s just say, there aren’t many places that serve a proper tea let alone matcha. Basic matcha latte is superb. The swirl ice creams are dank.Tea concoctions and deserts are plentiful. Customer rewards. In house restroom. Right off freeway. Close to tons of other stuff.Forget the coffee garbage and get your tea buzz on here!!!

Such a cute, cozy space. We had coffees and honey toast and were really happy with everything. A honey toast order will take some extra time so just be aware you'll have to wait about 10 minutes but it's worth it. The matcha latte with cheese foam and the dalgona coffee are both really good.

Kid-friendliness: Something for everyone! Vanilla and ube flavored soft serve is available if you prefer to have something that doesn’t have tea in it. Kids would also enjoy a bubble waffle.Wheelchair accessibility: 2 tables can accommodate those sitting in wheel chairs
