Canyon Grille - Escondido

Good food and very friendly. Especially Janell. The patio has a nice view. Food was delicious and was served very fast.

Restaurant was dated, hot and stuffy. Menu and prices looked as if food would be decent but it was not. Paid $24 for Chicken Parmesan that was made from what tasted like cheap frozen, chicken. Chicken parm itself was soggy and marinara was basic. Daughter had popcorn shrimp and fries. Paid $50 for “dinner” I’ve had better food, experiences and service at Applebees. Save your money or lower your expectations. The ambiance of this resort is nice so the on site restaurant being trash after waiting for it to open all week was disappointing. (It’s closed Mon Tues)

This was not very good. Two stars because our waitress was kind and my burger was good. The sauce for the chicken parmesan basically just tasted like parsley. No bread was offered for the table, so we tried to buy garlic bread,it was basically just toasted pieces of sandwich bread. They charge more for drinks than the beautiful,upscale Vintana restaurant not too far from there,that was exceptional. Prices did not match the quality. Not many options, definitely wouldn't recommend.

Bad service, poor food experience. Waited an hour for a pork chop and mashed potatoes, and only the potatoes and mushrooms were edible. Server tried to pass a sparkling cider for a rosewine. Never going back!

We sat at our table for 15 minutes and were never approached by a waitress/waiter. We decided to leave. If their service is any indication of their food, I think we lucked out not having to try it.
