Ali Baba Mediterranean Cuisine Of Escondido

Omg? my absolutely new favorite place to grub. I can't describe the aromas and the beauty of delicious food here at Ali Baba.

We ordered a family platter, and there was so much food – everything was delicious! We had 5 adults and 3 children, and we still had 3 boxes of leftovers to take home. They even offered to refrigerate our birthday cake for us. The service was incredibly friendly and astonishingly quick. We were so full that we had a hard time leaving!

I loved the taste and loved the bread. I've been in Escondido for a couple of weeks, looking for a food that tastes like at home. We tried the Shawerma and the Kababab, the taste was mouthwater, the part was good. It is definitely worth trying. We were 3 and our bill no more than 40

The meal was complemented by yellow rice, a very tangy salad (which I didn’t particularly enjoy), and an enormous piece of naan bread. Overall, it was quite a hearty meal with lots of great flavors. The restaurant itself had a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, with only a few other tables occupied despite it being a rainy Saturday afternoon when I visited. I found the waitress to be attentive without being intrusive, and she was quick to take my order. I’m glad I finally tried this place; it was a delightful experience. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I tried this restaurant for the first time and ordered a chicken salad to take away. While the chicken was abundant and tasty, along with the dressing, it fell short of being a genuine Mediterranean salad. There were only two black olives and maybe one Roma tomato, with very little chopped romaine lettuce and cucumber. It definitely wasn't worth the $20 I paid. I won't be returning. Additionally, the service wasn't very good either.
