Small and local restaurant, it may be not a first choice when passing it but when you try you will live that. It's family restaurant with really delicious, traditional food. A family owned and run tavern right in middle of the peninsula where the forest is. Although not seafront like all the others, its definitely worth visiting. The service was surprisingly quick (very young waiters) and very polite, the food is very tasty and perfectly prepared, the portions are satisfactory and the beers are perfectly cold. They offer outdoor seating and the menu includes seafood, grilled meat, vegetable dishes (classic traditional Greek cuisine) and vegetarian options. I would also add that the prices are reasonable. For 2 beers, a big bottle of water, Greek salad, fried eggplant, fried cheese saganaki and pork with lemon sauce accompanied with fries, we paid 34€. Since we 've dined here 3 times so far, besides recommending the tavern, I will note the the meatballs are tender, the zucchini patties are aromatic and all cooked food is simply great. Vegetarian options: Offers many vegetable dishes to choose from. Parking: At the entrance of the forest, there is plenty of space to park. Kid-friendliness: Many families dine here.
