Cafe Margareta - Erlangen

The caffe is not too big, which I find very relaxing. the staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked about the vegan options. the food and the coffee tasted very well and you could say that it was made with love. I would recommend to everyone to try it!

A beautiful caffeine at the long market place, they can sit very nicely outside. friendly service. there are a few vegan options. the cappuccino with milk and the limo taste good.

The place is beautiful, well designed and with seating in the open and in the interior. it was very crowded when I was there. it took more than 10 minutes until someone took my order. I took the vegan plate that was just a whole chalk bread with guacamole and some other things. it was okay, but not special, and in my eyes it was little for the price and did not look as I would think for the name

This cafe is located just on the corner of the main square in Erlangen, so great location. Perfect for enjoying some refreshments after a walk in the beautiful Botanical Garden nearby, or just to hang out. The ambience is great - modern but cozy, filled with character but not too cluttered. The choice of music was great, though slightly too loud for that time of day (Sunday afternoon).The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. We used our limited German mixed with English to order, and the staff spoke with us in mostly English with a little German thrown in. For a busy place, we never waited long, there was a good group of staff that you could see worked well as a team.The drinks we ordered were great, the desert - fabulous! Don't miss their cherry tart and the carrot cake! The prices for some items are a little more than expected but worth it for this kind of overall experience. One of the best examples of good service we've experienced here in Erlangen.

Margareta is the go to place when it comes to weekend breakfast or a tasty piece of cake in the afternoon. Coffee is amazing and if u up for something colourful I recommend getting the beetroot little..
