Miners Tavern Taphouse - Erie

The server provided excellent service, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of my experience. Since changing ownership, this restaurant has declined in quality and raised its prices. The food is now terrible compared to its previous standard. It is no longer deserving of being called a Tavern and Taphouse. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Average price per person: $20–30

This past weekend, my wife had a hankering for a good burger. And even though the service is currently take-out only, we decided to order up some grub from Miners and drive over to pick it up. My wife ordered the Motherlode and I had a Patty Melt. We both got an order of fries. The food was so good, we ordered the same thing the next night. Only the second time, I got an extra order of fries so there would be some left by the time we got home. Both burgers were big and tasty. The fries were great. Even in this take-out only world we're living in, the food was well worth the round-trip drive.

Under new management, the restaurant still serves delicious food, but with a freshly cleaned look!

Maegan and I moved to Erie about 8 months ago durin covid and have been ordering food before the doors were open again and we love it so much, We come here a couple times a week and they are always so happy to see us, A home away from home.
