Pavilion Cafe - Erewash

Hello. Today, we took a walk at High Fields and stopped at the cafe for our usual latte and scone with cream and jam. It was delicious until we tried the jam. The jam is now in a paper pot instead of the small jars it used to be in. It doesn't taste the same and lacks the quality of the old jars. This change honestly ruined the experience for us. The cafe has been renovated and it looks great. But we would really appreciate it if they brought back the small jars of jam.

University café that hits all the right spots. It's a little hectic, even on Sundays, but as a uni café, you can't really expect otherwise. I highly recommend the scones with clotted cream and jam. A delight that goes with any hot drink! (You can also get sandwiches and bagels if you don't like scones)

Had a pre-show meal at Lakeside Arts and it was fantastic. They offer vegetarian options at a reasonable price and the food was very tasty. The beer was also well-priced. It's a great little spot and I appreciate that they open before the shows begin.

We started our visit to the park with a welcome visit here for a hot drink and pastry. It set us up well for the boating Lake and golf.

It would seem management at this venue needs sorting. Not only do they have bad reviews about staff and food, but please do not apply for a job here. My friend went for interview, did a trial shift, and was then told they would get in touch middle of following week. She heard nothing, and still no response when she emailed them. RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!
