Barb Ed's Drive-inn - Ephrata

Stopped here with my sons and a friend as we were driving across the state. Onion rings were the highlight, with a light but crisp breading. We all had burgers as well the consensus was that they were good, but not outstanding.Service was friendly and pretty fast, but a new sales system was giving the staff a hard time. The Styrofoam burger packaging popped open a bit more easily than I'd like, but did prevent sauce from leaking out the bottom. We got our food to go, but the dining room was clean.

First time in for me, third for my husband. He's had great food every time, and tonights was no exception. Smoked gyro was best gyro I've ever had. Staff was friendly and prompt.

I'm really split on the rating here, as my family was disappointed when we found out that they stop serving breakfast by 11:00 and had chosen this place specifically for the breakfast, which is honestly six out of five stars. Lunch is a bit more limited in selection and while good, wasn't good enough for how long we had to wait. The fish was really good tho.Best breakfast in town, in fact the best pancakes I've ever had, ever.

Their fish is very good and tasty. Their fries are awful. I know lots of people like them, but soggy limp fries aren't fries.

At the better end of drive-in food. Service was great. Very pleasant young ladies working front of house. Ice cream Sunday- yum! Perfect end to dinner.Wheelchair accessibility: Good handicapped parking. My Mom did not have any problems with her walker.
