The Whiskey Biscuit - Englewood

The whiskey biscuit was fantastic. I didn't have a chance to eat or drink there, as there was quite a long wait for a Sunday evening, and the bar was packed. However, everyone who worked there was extremely friendly. They even allowed me to use the bathroom quickly, which gave me the opportunity to check out the bathroom mirror. It was a well-lit space and perfect for snapping a quick mirror selfie for the program!

The food here is good, but considering the restaurant's emphasis on whiskey, I expected a much better Old Fashioned. I was hoping for a drink that showcased the whiskey rather than masking it with too much sugar and muddled fruit mixed with soda. I realize this might be a regional style, but a quality whiskey doesn't need dilution; it simply requires a few basics—some bitters, a nice cherry, and a twist of orange peel. Having an Old Fashioned on the menu gives the impression that, despite their name, they might not fully grasp whiskey craftsmanship. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, and this place is still a great option for a light brunch or a quick bite before a concert.

This is a fantastic little gastropub! I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. The menu is concise, but everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, including the fries—definitely no sad, frozen fries in sight. They prepare them in a way that gives them a great texture, making them perfect for dipping in their delicious green chili, which I could happily eat by the bowlful. The food is delightful in its simplicity and unpredictability. The service was also attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Nice place for food and drinks! We went to a Sunday afternoon and didn't have to wait too long. Drinks and food both delicious, I recommend the Jalapeño Popper diving with some extra bread!

The food here is the best in South Denver. Huge portions. They used seasonings and creativity when using ingredients. great value on food and drinks. Bonus: YOU CAN TAKE YOUR DOG!!! We were able to take our dog out on the patio. We enjoyed our food and drinks on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Can't wait to go back.
