The Jack of Harts and Jude - Engadine

Amazing coffee and scrumptious desserts. The menu is quite unique and the dishes live up to their descriptions.

I absolutely adore this charming café run by the Hart family, where they personally craft all of their delectable cakes and slices. Their organic coffee is sourced from the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales and is freshly air-roasted right on the premises. In addition to their delightful baked goods, they also offer breakfast and lunch made with fresh local ingredients, with a diverse menu that changes daily. I highly recommend this café!

The name is a bit tricky and it's in a daggy arcade but everything else makes it the best little cafe in Engadine! They roast their own coffee beans, use fresh organic food and have a cute retro fitout. It's run by a family the service is relaxed and friendly. Most importantly the food is absolutely delicious and the cakes and bickies are all homemade and delicious. Thanks for bringing a little bit of inner city hipster to the Shire!

Good food and coffee....this cafe actually supplies ground coffee to some othercafes in the Sutherland Shire.Fun quirky decor which suites the age and style of the arcade. Perhaps find somewhere else to store the coffee beans!! Occ health and safety and all that!!Service is polite but very very slow.Took some visitors down for breakfast....so we were hungry going in ....good size protions and excellent flavours but I was embarrased by the wait. Went for take away soup one work day ...20 mins later I got my soup!!!! I only get 30 minutes for lunch.Recommend this cafe but only if you are having a leisurely day off or are retired or not in a hurry.Charming owners but need to pull out all stops for the customers and cut down the chat.

There is always a selection of freshly made cakes and slices on offer at this quirky, family run cafe in Engadine. The house roasted, Australian coffee beans, are a specialty and the coffee is just as delicious as the cakes. It is worth checking in every day to see if Nana's famous passionfruit sponge is on the menu. There are also creatively filled, sourdough sandwiches to eat in or take away.
