Great and friendly service from everyone we encountered last night at dinner.

I was hoping they'd be serving both their brunch and lunch menus on a Sunday after noon, but they were only serving lunch.

A group of us went for dinner after a day of sightseeing Peggy's Cove and other areas in Nova ScotiaAmbiance is nice, and staff is very friendly.

After reading such great reviews we were excited to eat at the hotel. We normally never do so and always find good place outside. We got to the restaurant all the tables and booths were covered in crumbs and sticky surfaces. We told the server and she did a brief wipe down . We found a booth to sit on - then we got a brand new server who did not introduce herself but seemed in a hurry to get away. We had to continuously get up to ask her for drinks, food, menu anything to get her back. We got spaghetti meat sauce for my son but it was room temperature as was my seafood chowder that got me violently sick after!! We had salmon with rice which was very bland and again room temperature. I don't know how they manage to reheat it to just room temperature! We got the curry chicken stir Fry which was better. We got beer and side of onion rings. Not great service and poor food for dinner and unclean premises. In the morning for breakfast I was hoping for a better reception same story with the hostess she was completely unfriendly and I asked her for some chocolate milk she looked upset! I had to actually apologize to bother her when I asked her where the regular milk was. Terrible service so disappointing- put a damper on a lovely visit .

We had supper here, shared the sea food platter. Very tasty and good service. The continental breakfast was here in the mornings, and they had a good selection.
